CREATIVE MINDFULNESS ~ Spring 2023

Ignite and support your daily artistic process with this 6-week group creative mindfulness course, facilitated by photographer Lucy Goodhart.

Creative Mindfulness is a workshop for both beginner and experienced photographers and artists looking to explore awareness practices whilst making their creative work. A new theme is explored and worked with in each session, such as Stillness, Intuition and Wonder, as a way of accessing our creative potential and engaging with our curiosity and awareness. Homework assignments are given at the end of each session due at the following session. Files of work-in-progress can be sent via YouSendIt for our “Show and Tell” critique during each class.

You will be encouraged to commit to a regular practice of exploration throughout the course that will bring understanding, form and structure to the elusive nature of the creative process. The exercises offer the potential to shape and deepen your creative practice.

I wanted to say how much I loved meeting you all over zoom and how much this class with Lucy’s beautiful leadership -creating a container for safe sharing and inspiration- has meant to me. Thank you so much Lucy for your artful design of this class, I wanted to tell you your class has reverberated in such a wonderful way.” — Diana

I am an amateur photographer, and professional dancer. I felt the class gave me new inspiration for photography and my dancing as well. I felt supported, even though the other students were much more experienced.” — Jen
